We have finally got organized and have started a new promotion at the Head Office, which is very exciting! As of the 16th February 2009, if you, an existing client, introduces a friend to the salon, you will receive 20% off your next visit. And I know, there will be many murmurs through the crowd of "I've already introduced heaps of friends!" and we truly thank you for that! But we have to start fairly and squarely on a new playing field, from scratch. So from now on, the game is on, try to introduce a new client a month, then you will never pay full price again! But we do have to limit the discount to one new client a month
To make sure you get your discount, make sure your friend tells us your name so that we can mark it in your files. Its as easy as that! Besides the promotion, we here at The Head Office, hope you all had a brilliant Christmas and New Year break with all your families, and hopefully kept cool over the weeks of searing heatwaves, phew!

Just a quick post this month just to let you know that it has finally happened! As I type, our workmen are putting the finishing touches to our salon renovations, very exciting news! Over the next day or so, I will be posting some photos for those that can't just drop in, but for the others, feel free to drop in for a coffee and a sticky beak, we are almost always there. Keep an eye out on the website for some specials to promote the "new" salon. We will also be getting our computer this week, and it will take a little time for us to figure out everything, but once we do we will start to SMS to remind you of appointments....ahhh, technology!

Welcome one and all to our first proper posting of our newsletter!
We had such a busy build up to the end of the year it has taken a fair bit of time to get to the website and do some work, but hopefully over the next few months we will well and truly be into the cyber world. We are finalising plans to install a computer system into the salon itself, where we be able to email specials, and also sms to confirm appointments, very exciting! But until then, we are working the old fashioned way, using cardboard client cards, which can get very messy, and using a cash register, how long has it been since you saw one of those?!
Well, we survived through Formal, and Christmas time. It is always a huge couple of months, trying fit everyone into the last few weeks before Christmas. We hope we didn't disappoint too many people! Each year we try to get all our clients to book ahead to avoid missing out, but it doesn't always work out, everyone gets busy shopping, and schedules get changed!! But we do hope all the families we know out there had a great break over December/January!!
Another exciting change coming to the head office is, we are planning on renovating the shop in a few months. Lot's of good changes coming, including getting rid of that horrid desk, ugh! We are hoping to bring you something lighter and brighter, with a few surprises. If you have any suggestions on how we could improve your comfort, feel free to make a comment on this page, you never know you may get a look in!!
